Meet Maria Fernanda
Fernanda is passionate about telling stories of women. She is a prize-winning filmmaker from Mexico who focuses on sharing the authentic voices of indigenous women in a creative and engaging style.

In 2009, she received the scholarship of Young Creators to write her first feature film, developing as a screenwriter and director from this date and has won various prizes for her films.
Fernanda is currently doing a Master's in humanities with a specialty in Fine Arts at the University of Sonora to complement her Master's in Documentary Making.
