Today, OneMillionSparks is celebrating Sascha NICK, a serial entrepreneur, a scientist, a professor, and a true professional. Sascha will be joining the headline keynote speakers at the 10th Edition of GoodFestival on the 11th of October at The Olympic Museum, Lausanne. The topic of his speech is “Female leadership, male leadership, or good leadership?”
Sascha returned to academia, researching Societal Transition Pathways at EPFL and teaching at Business School Lausanne and UNIL after 15 years in tech leadership as a serial entrepreneur, starting four companies including CO2-monitor.
As a proud father of two, an active outdoors sportsman, and passionate about nature and discovering humans and their achievements, he is naturally attracted to sustainability. He believes that there is so much beauty, resilience, and mystery in life that continuing to run after money and material growth is the ultimate tragedy of humanity. His research is exposing an obsolete system that is currently efficiently transforming the biosphere into waste. He believes that this system needs urgent replacement by a much better, inclusive society, cherishing life in all its forms, and enabling human flourishing, starting with science, the arts, and human relationships.
